Elsie E. Ewing-Mitchell*, MBA

Elsie transitioned from the world of a research scientist into Financial Services in 1982 with AXA Financial Partners. She has been breaking new ground ever since, helping her clients with their financial objectives and working with and training new financial services professionals to develop their careers. Elsie entered the arena of Agency Development with the New England, where she became the first minority and female General Agent in the history of that company dating back to 1835.

She saw the need for the customer intimacy of a small company to serve the Greater Boston Area. She was instrumental in the formation of The Moody Street Group, LLC and serves as the Managing Partner.

Elsie has a PHD in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto and MBA in Finance. She is a resident of Marlboro, Massachusetts where she resides with her husband Derek.
